Yolanda is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, authenticity, and respect. She has worked with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults across a variety of clinical settings, bringing a wealth of experience to her practice.
Yolanda believes that therapy is a collaborative process designed to improve overall well-being and enhance quality of life. She partners with each client to identify meaningful goals while building on their strengths to foster resilience, healing, and personal growth. Her clinical interests include life transitions, relationship concerns, recovery from substance use, grief and loss, aging, and supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and other emotional challenges.
As a therapist trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Yolanda integrates evidence-based interventions with a personalized, client-centered approach to help individuals develop practical coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and create lasting change. She is committed to providing a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.
In addition to her clinical work, Yolanda is passionate about mentoring the next generation of therapists. She provides clinical supervision for social workers and professional counselors pursuing licensure as Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) and Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs), fostering confidence, clinical competence, and ethical practice.
