Sarah Wagner, LPC

I've always felt called to work in a helping profession, and it was during my first psychology class at Washington College that I knew I had found my path. I went on to earn my Bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology from Washington College, followed by a Master’s degree from the University of Baltimore.

As I worked toward licensure, I gained valuable experience across a range of settings, including inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment as well as outpatient mental health services—all within the state of Maryland. Eight years ago, I relocated to this area and have since been working as a mental health therapist within the Chester County school system. It has been a privilege to support students and their families through a variety of challenges, and I’m excited to return to the outpatient setting to broaden the range of individuals and families I can support.

I enjoy working with clients of all ages and life stages. My approach is collaborative and client-centered—I believe in getting to know you as a whole person so we can work together to identify your goals and navigate the challenges you’re facing. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic principles to create a supportive, personalized experience.

Outside of my work, I love spending time with my husband and two daughters, as well as with extended family and friends. Staying active and prioritizing my own wellness is important to me, and I’m passionate about helping others do the same—whatever “being your best self” looks like for you.
