Life can feel overwhelming when you're navigating anxiety, life transitions, trauma, etc. Whether you are feeling stuck or simply seeking a safe space to process, you don't have to navigate it alone. I believe in a humanistic, person-centered approach while utilizing both art therapy and talk therapy to focus on personal growth and self development.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts from Millersville University with degrees in Psychology and Art, followed by a Master of Arts in Art Therapy from Marywood University. Throughout my Masters program, I interned at multiple clinical locations, including outpatient therapy, inpatient therapy and an intermediate unit.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Art Therapy to meet clients where they are at.
Art therapy isn't about being a "good artist" or creating a masterpiece; it’s about using the creative process to explore the inner landscapes of your mind and emotion. Through drawing, painting, sculpting, or collage, we can give a tangible shape to complex feelings, making them easier to understand and organize.
I use a blend of traditional talk therapy and hands-on art-making, tailored entirely to your comfort level and pace.
In my free time, I love to spend time with my fiancé, and our dog. I love to paint, be outdoors, and go thrifting.
