Alanna Higgins and Elisha Farley founded AE Wellness in 2019 with the goal to care for the whole person. We believe in a holistic approach, meeting the needs of a diverse population, with culturally sensitive treatment techniques. As practitioners we believe in meeting the individuals where they are at in their life, using strength-based methods to empower our clients to heal.

AE Wellness values the work that is done in an outpatient therapy setting for individuals, couples, and families. Our clinicians hold specialized skill sets, combining different clinical interventions as well as holistic interventions, in order to develop a unique treatment plan for each individual or family.

We believe that building a strong therapeutic rapport and remaining client-centered is the key to successful therapy.

AE Wellness Drum Circle

AE Wellness will hold a drum circle once a month focusing on releasing negative energies and different ways to use drumming as a way of reducing our stressors and challenges. 

If you have a drum that's great, please bring it with you.  If not, one will be provided to you to use.  No experience is necessary.  This is a safe space to explore your challenges at the beat of your own drum. If interested in participating in a drum circle please email Tiffany Marron at tmarron@aewellness.org

Mental health Massage

Stress is an inevitable part of our lives, and massage has been known to reduce anxiety, depression and stress.  Massage combined with talk therapy will help to lower your cortisol levels, allow for better focus, manage insomnia/stress/anxiety/depression, and will help your body increase serotonin.

By lowering cortisol and increasing serotonin in the body, you are giving your body the ability to fight off pain, anxiety and feelings of sadness.   

Mental health massage is a safe and nurturing space in which clients can be able to re-focus, find clarity and reduce their overall stress levels.
